Theatre festivals held in Bjelovar and Vukovar

Several comedy and theatre events are taking place in Croatia. In Bjelovar, the 16th edition of Komedija fest, an international festival of amateur comedies, is being held from September 17 to 27. The program features various theatre troupes from Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Slovenia, performing at the Culture Home and the Bjelovar Theatre. The festival includes performances for both adults and children.

In Vukovar, the 11th Days of Laughter (Dani smijeha) is underway until September 19. The event includes the promotion of psychiatrist Veljko Đorđević’s book, ‘I ludolozi su l(j)udi’, alongside several domestic comedy performances such as ‘Vojni rok’ by La La Land theatre, ‘Papučari’ by Teatar Gavran, ‘Ništa bez reklame’ by Luda kuća i Gloria, and ‘Penzići luduju’ by Kerekesh Teatar.
