Theatre festivals scheduled for autumn 2026 in France

Several theatre festivals are scheduled to take place in France during the autumn of 2026.

In the Yvelines department, the second edition of the Yvelines Théâtre festival will run from October 16 to November 15, 2026. Organized by the Département des Yvelines, the month-long event features 15 free spectacles across 50 communes. The programming includes comedy, circus opera, vaudeville, magic, puppetry, and both classical and contemporary theatre. Performances will be held in various locations, ranging from traditional theatres to atypical spaces like the medieval Rennemoulin chapel.

In Antibes, the 49th edition of the Bœuf Théâtre humor festival will be held from October 10 to October 17, 2026. Hosted by the Théâtre du Tribunal d’Antibes, the festival offers six shows in various city locations. The lineup includes street performances such as the improvisation show ‘ImproLocura’ and several one-man shows, including ‘L’Impatient’ and ‘Topick’, as well as a musical comedy titled ‘Je vis avec Freddie Mercury’.
