Theatre productions of Romeo and Juliet announced in Adelaide and Winnipeg

The musical ‘& Juliet’, a reimagining of Shakespeare’s classic, is scheduled to perform at Adelaide University’s Scott Theatre from October 8th to October 11th. Presented by students of the Elder Conservatorium Music Theatre, the production features a cast of 45 performers and explores a narrative where Juliet chooses her own path following her relationship with Romeo. The show is directed by Matt Hyde, who previously served as a Casting Associate for the London world premiere.

In Winnipeg, the Elizabeth Paige Theatre recently staged a production of ‘Romeo and Juliet’. The performance featured a last-minute cast change when Brie Sands was replaced by Clementine Mantaglioni, a recent graduate of the University of Winnipeg’s Honours Acting program. The production was led by interim artistic director Oliver Tedding and featured Sebastian Reynolds in the role of Romeo.
