Theatrical performances explore psychology and social issues

Theatrical venues are increasingly being used as platforms for educational and psychological discourse. Experts in fields such as psychology, criminology, and pedagogy are utilizing the stage to share specialized knowledge through direct storytelling and accessible language.

Pedagogist Daniele Novara is scheduled to perform “Non mi somiglia per niente – Come rovinare i figli in 10 mosse,” a show addressing parent-child relationships and conflict management. His tour includes dates in Bergamo, Verona, Ancona, Milan, Rome, Padova, and Bologna through May 2027.

Additionally, the documentary “L’ultimo abbraccio – ‘Chi come me’” explores the intersection of theater and mental health. Directed by Michele Mally and based on a text by Roy Chen, the production follows five adolescents in a mental health center who use performance to connect with themselves and others. The documentary examines sensitive themes including self-harm, loneliness, and gender dysphoria.
