Theatrical performances in Italy address social and psychological themes

Various theatrical productions in Italy are scheduled to explore sensitive social and psychological issues. In Novara, Cabiria Teatro will present “Lei” at the Teatro Don Bosco. The play, written by Maurizio Patella, examines themes of consent, sexual violence, and the long-term trauma of such experiences through the perspective of a woman reflecting on an event from thirty years prior.

In Cassano allo Ionio, the Teatro Comunale will host “5 Minuti,” a production written and directed by Francesco Caporale. The play follows two siblings returning to their grandparents' home, using a photo album to confront the memory of their mother's abandonment. The event is designed to foster reflection on family and social issues, featuring a post-show discussion with a psychologist and religious educator.
