Theatrical productions scheduled in Patras and Crete

Various theatrical productions are scheduled across Greece, focusing on themes of memory and tradition. In Patras, the Polyphoniki Theater Workshop will present ‘I Mikri mas Smyrni’ (Our Little Smyrna). The performance, which explores the pain of displacement and the memory of refugee settlements, will be held on October 3 at the Pamvrakian Association of Patras and on October 7 at the Pantheon Theater.

In Crete, the theatrical groups Scarmi and Theatro Antivaro are returning to Rethymno and Chania to present ‘RIZITIKO REload’. This musical theater performance uses Cretan Rizitika songs as a foundation to explore identity, memory, and social issues through a contemporary lens. Following its participation in the Mpart festival, the production will have extended dates on October 22, 23, and 24.
