TheFork Awards 2026 nominees announced for French restaurants
The nominees for the 7th edition of TheFork Awards 2026 have been announced, initiating a public voting period for the competition aimed at identifying the most promising new tables in France. The awards follow a unique format where established chefs sponsor and select nominees based on creativity and audacity, after which the public determines the winners.
In the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region, nine restaurants from the Gironde department are among the fifteen regional nominees. These include four establishments in Bordeaux: La Rencontre, Les Négociants, Luna, and Côté Zinc. Other regional nominees include Chez GN in Cestas, Caroline in Léognan, La Table de l’Oléa in La Teste-de-Buch, and La Chapelle de Guiraud in Sauternes.
In the Hauts-de-France region, six restaurants have been nominated: Iodaline in Arras, Orizon in Boulogne-sur-Mer, Pluriel’ in Saint-Omer, Pulpe in Lille, Saline in Saint-Valery-sur-Somme, and La Grange aux Loups in Apremont. The national ceremony is scheduled to take place in Bordeaux on November 30.
