Theft and suspicious activity reported in Montorio and San Mariano

Residents in Montorio and San Mariano are reporting increased security concerns following recent suspicious activities and thefts.

In Montorio, multiple reports of thefts have been recorded over several days. The most recent incident occurred on Sunday, October 11, between 7:00 PM and 8:00 PM in via Olivè. Previous reports included activity in the Lanificio area and via delle Betulle on October 6. Local residents are encouraged to report any infractions to law enforcement.

In San Mariano, Corciano, social media discussions have highlighted concerns regarding suspicious vehicles. Residents reported seeing a white van, possibly an Iveco, and a white Fiat Uno in areas such as via Parco and the route toward Solomeo. While these sightings follow a series of garage thefts during the summer, authorities have not yet established a direct link between these specific vehicles and criminal activity.
