Criminal activity and local developments reported in Argentina and Mexico

Various criminal incidents and local developments have been reported across Argentina and Mexico. In Argentina, thieves targeted the construction site of the Howard Johnson Hotel near Cinco Saltos, stealing linens, tools, and chairs from containers just days before its scheduled opening. In San Justo, a man was charged with filing a false report and attempted fraud after security cameras revealed he staged the theft of his vehicle to claim insurance money.

In Mexico, several reports emerged from Aguascalientes. A group of approximately 45 people reported being defrauded by a company called Financiera Crevi Autos, which allegedly took down payments for vehicles and then ceased communication. Additionally, local merchants noted a decrease in robberies at grocery stores. In Tamaulipas, authorities recovered a stolen Volkswagen Jetta after the owner used GPS tracking to locate the vehicle.

In a separate municipal development, Aguascalientes officials delivered 20 new garbage trucks and 1,000 containers to strengthen local sanitation services.
