The perpetrators stole food donations intended for a children's snack event scheduled for the upcoming weekend. In Fresnillo, Zacatecas, Mexico, the Gabriela Mistral kindergarten was targeted by thieves who stole copper piping from the sanitary facilities. The theft was discovered after staff noticed a water leak. The intruders reportedly scaled a wall using an electrical meter base to reach the roof. While they attempted to enter classrooms by manipulating windows, metal protections prevented them from stealing equipment.
