Thefts reported at restaurant in Sarno and supermarket in Chiari

Two separate burglaries have been reported in Italy. In Sarno, five individuals broke into the “I Sapori del Sud” restaurant during the night. While the amount of cash stolen from the automatic register was described as minimal, the perpetrators caused approximately 13,000 euros in property damage.

In Chiari, thieves targeted a Conad supermarket via an emergency exit at the rear of the building. The suspects used a cutting tool to open a safe in the office area, stealing an estimated 45,000 euros, believed to be the previous day's earnings. Carabinieri are currently investigating the Chiari incident by reviewing surveillance footage.
