Theme parks announce new attractions for Halloween events

Major theme parks are announcing new attractions for their upcoming Halloween seasonal events.

Kings Island will host Halloween Haunt from September 25 through October 31. The event features several mazes, including Alien Abyss, Killmart, Order of the Dragon, and Slaughterhouse, alongside various scare zones. For 2026, the park is introducing a new maze titled ‘JASON: Blood Reign’ and a new show called ‘Metal Massacre’.

Knott's Scary Farm in Southern California has also revealed updates for its 2026 season. New mazes include ‘Inked’, a cartoon-themed experience, and ‘Unearthed’, an excavation-site horror attraction. The park is also debuting ‘Occultum’, an entertainment offering in partnership with Hollywood's Magic Castle featuring magicians at the Bird Cage Theatre. The 2026 season will also mark the final year for the ‘Origins: The Curse of Calico’ and ‘The Chilling Chambers’ mazes.
