Then Comes Silence announces new album ‘Requiem Ballroom’

Stockholm-based post-punk and gothic rock trio Then Comes Silence has announced the release of their eighth studio album, ‘Requiem Ballroom’, scheduled for November 20, 2026, via Metropolis Records.

The new album is structured as a diptych consisting of two contrasting halves: ‘Requiem’, representing darkness, and ‘Ballroom’, representing light. To reflect these distinct identities, the band utilized two different mixing producers, Tom van Heesch and Jon Bordon, for each half. The band described the project as a social experiment exploring polarization.

On September 11, 2026, the band released the single ‘Remaker Redeemer’, which serves as the opening track for the ‘Ballroom’ portion of the record. The song is described by the band as being about rebirth and new beginnings. The accompanying music video was directed by Damon Zurawski.

Following a performance at the M’era Luna Festival in Germany, the band is currently conducting an extensive European tour with upcoming dates in Belgium, France, Italy, and the Czech Republic.
