Theodor Bastard releases new single ‘Vedma’

Theodor Bastard, the Karelian world music pioneers, has released ‘Vedma’, the second advance single from their upcoming album titled ▽. The new album is scheduled for release on November 13, 2026, via Season of Mist.

Departing from the northern ethnic palette of previous works, the new material incorporates dark, heavy electronic beats and analog synthesizers. The band described the project as a reflection of a world shaped by the pandemic, war, and invasive technologies, aiming to find perspective amidst global instability.

Following the release of the lead single ‘Sverkay’, the band plans a 10-date headlining tour of Russia throughout November and December to perform new material.
