Theodoros Kalionchiz leaves PAN parliamentary group

Federal Deputy Theodoros Kalionchiz de la Fuente has announced his irrevocable separation from the National Action Party (PAN) parliamentary group in the Chamber of Deputies. Representing the third district of Coahuila, Kalionchiz communicated his decision via a letter to PAN national president Jorge Romero Herrera.

Kalionchiz stated that the decision resulted from deep personal reflection and a desire to prioritize the prosperity and stability of Coahuila. He noted that the current challenges facing the state led him to rethink his political path, though he emphasized that he will continue his legislative duties as an independent member of the LXVI Legislature.

A former businessman and member of the Monclova City Council's Finance Commission, Kalionchiz expressed gratitude to the party's national and state leadership, his fellow legislators, and the party membership for their support during his tenure.
