Theodoros Karpidis banned for 15 days following derby altercation
Theodoros Karpidis, the owner of PAE Aris, has been sanctioned following a verbal altercation during the Thessaloniki derby at Toumba Stadium. According to the match report by referee Kolombo, Karpidis entered the officials' area at halftime and engaged in an intense verbal dispute with PAOK representative Leo Matos.
The Stoiximan Super League's disciplinary body has imposed a 15-day ban on Karpidis, prohibiting him from entering playing areas and locker rooms.
In addition to the personal sanction, several clubs received financial penalties. PAE PAOK and PAE Olympiacos were each fined 2,500 euros, while PAE Panathinaikos and PAE AEK were each fined 1,000 euros.
