Theon International secures €50 million in new defense contracts

Theon International Plc has secured new contracts totaling approximately €50 million from countries in Europe and the Middle East. Deliveries for these orders are expected to commence within 2026.

A key component of these contracts includes the supply of NYX night vision goggles and ORION fusion binoculars to a NATO member state in Europe. This represents the first major delivery of ORION fusion systems to a Western European end-user, marking a milestone for the company’s ‘THEON NEXT’ initiative, which aims to develop a fully interconnected vision system for future soldiers.

Additionally, Theon’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Kappa, has received several million euros in new orders for various land and maritime surveillance applications. Other orders involve a mix of man-portable products. The company noted a strategic shift toward equipping land forces, a trend expected to drive increased demand through the end of 2026 and into early 2027. Philippe Mennicken, Deputy CEO and Business Development Director, indicated that the company is also shortlisted for additional contracts potentially worth hundreds of millions of euros.
