Theoni supports women's health and cancer prevention initiatives
Theoni, in collaboration with the Health Centers of Karditsa and Palama, organized an informative event titled ‘Prevention for Every Woman’ on Wednesday, October 21, in Karditsa. The initiative focused on cancer prevention, emphasizing the critical role of preventive screenings and early diagnosis in effective disease management.
Speakers at the event included Xenia Giannaki, Director of Corporate Social Responsibility at Theoni; Athina Samara, midwife-gynecologist; Theodoros Floros, radiologist; Vasileios Amprazis, orthopedic surgeon; Dimitrios Bezas, general practitioner; and Chrysoula Rizou, midwife. The event highlighted the importance of primary healthcare and follows a previous donation of medical technology equipment by Theoni to the Karditsa Health Centers.
