Theos: Cities of Myth gameplay revealed by Dotemu and Triskell Interactive

Dotemu and Triskell Interactive have released new gameplay footage for Theos: Cities of Myth, a city-building and management game set in Ancient Greece. Designed as a modern homage to classic 2000s genre titles, the game features urban planning, resource management, and real-time military combat.

Players begin by constructing a settlement around a central Sanctuary dedicated to one of the seven Olympian gods. The gameplay involves managing supply chains, infrastructure, and the needs of citizens, including food, housing, culture, and entertainment. Players must also navigate relationships with deities such as Ares and Athena; fulfilling divine requests can grant blessings, while failure may result in divine wrath.

The game also features the ability to attract historical and mythological figures, such as Socrates and Aristotle, to provide bonuses to the colony. In addition to the standard campaign, a sandbox mode will be available for free-form construction. The title is expected to launch on PC via Steam.
