Theresa Fonseca marries director Gustav von Fürstenberg

Actress Theresa Fonseca married director Gustav von Fürstenberg in a ceremony held in Paraty, Rio de Janeiro. The wedding, which took place on Saturday, August 15, was an intimate religious event at the Church of Nossa Senhora do Rosário e São Benedito.

Following the ceremony, the celebration moved to Angra dos Reis, specifically to the groom's family home at Praia do Frade, where approximately 350 guests were expected. The event featured a bilingual format to honor the German heritage of the groom, with about 120 international guests in attendance.

Fonseca wore a custom Givenchy haute couture gown inspired by Audrey Hepburn’s iconic look in the 1964 film ‘My Fair Lady’. The dress was a recreation of a 1997 Alexander McQueen design for Givenchy, chosen due to the symbolic connection to the year of the actress's birth.
