Thermal Grizzly unveils waterblocks with support for Intel LGA 1954

Thermal Grizzly has announced the Mycro Pro Stainless Steel, a new series of custom liquid cooling waterblocks. The Intel-compatible version includes support for the upcoming LGA 1954 socket, which is expected to be used for Intel’s future Nova Lake-S desktop processors. This model also maintains compatibility with existing LGA 1700 and LGA 1851 sockets.

To optimize manufacturing costs and heat transfer, the waterblocks feature a pure copper cold plate without nickel plating. While this design allows for more direct heat transfer, the exposed copper is subject to natural oxidation and discoloration over time. The unit is constructed with a stainless steel housing and an anodized aluminum mounting frame.

Thermal Grizzly also released a version for AMD platforms, supporting the AM4 and AM5 sockets. The internal architecture differs slightly between models, with the Intel version utilizing a 70 micro-fin matrix and the AMD version featuring 68 micro-fins.
