Therme Bucharest and Borzești Oak attract increased tourist interest in Romania
Romanian TV presenter Dan Negru visited the historic oak tree in Borzești, Onești, noting that despite its fame from school lessons and its link to Stephen the Great, the site receives few visitors. He expressed a wish that the landmark would attract more tourists.
British travel blogger Natasha praised Therme Bucharest after a two‑day stay, describing it as an "incredible" spa experience worth a full‑day ticket. She highlighted its extensive pools, saunas, family‑friendly zones, and efficient electronic‑bracelet system, saying she will return. Therme Bucharest ranks highly among European spas, drawing about 30% foreign visitors from the UK, Italy, Greece and other countries.
