Thermi Municipality Adds 4‑Ton Recycling Truck to Boost Local Recycling

Thermi municipality received a new 4‑ton recycling garbage truck, expanding its recycling fleet to seven vehicles. The truck was delivered by the Greek Recycling Utilisation Company (EEAA) under the terms of a cooperation contract with the municipality.

Mayor Theodoros Papadopoulos and Deputy Mayor for Cleanliness and Recycling Stelios Gkizaris attended the hand‑over. The additional vehicle is intended to speed up the collection of recyclable materials, improve service for residents, and support the town’s environmental and quality‑of‑life goals.
