Thermo Fisher Scientific sees stake cuts from ING and TIAA in Q4 filings

In its latest 13F filing, ING Groep NV reduced its position in Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. (NYSE:TMO) by 30.9% in the fourth quarter, selling 9,889 shares and ending the period with 22,127 shares valued at roughly $12.8 million.

TIAA Trust National Association also trimmed its holding in the same quarter, decreasing its stake by 7.1% after selling 9,288 shares. The investor finished the quarter with 121,724 shares worth about $70.5 million.

Both filings highlight continued adjustments by institutional investors in Thermo Fisher’s stock, which remains largely owned by hedge funds and other institutions (about 89 % of the float).
