Thermos launches microwave-compatible rice-cooking bento box

Thermos has introduced the JBS-360, a specialized bento box designed to cook rice using a microwave. The device allows users to prepare approximately 0.7 cups of rice by heating it in a 500W microwave for eight minutes, followed by a 30-minute保温 (warming) period.

Constructed with a stainless steel vacuum insulation structure, the container maintains temperatures above 54°C for six hours, or above 57°C when used with its dedicated pouch. The product is compact, measuring approximately 16 x 13 x 14.5 cm during microwave use and 10 x 9.5 x 12 cm for transport. Most components, excluding the warming case, are dishwasher safe.
