Theropods adventure game released by Lost Token

The indie adventure game ‘Theropods’ has been released on PC via Steam, GOG, and the Epic Games Store following ten years of development. Developed by Lost Token and published by Dionous Games and Gamersky Games, the title features hand-drawn pixel art set in a prehistoric world where dinosaurs coexist with mysterious extraterrestrial technology.

A defining characteristic of the game is its radical approach to the point-and-click genre: it contains no dialogue, subtitles, or narrative text. Instead, the story is conveyed entirely through character animations, expressions, sound effects, and environmental cues. Players must progress by observing creature behaviors and using visual logic to solve puzzles and navigate hostile environments.

Lost Token co-founders Kostas Skiftas and Sarah Duffield-Harding stated that while the project could have ended as a small game jam version in 2015, they continued development for a decade to realize their vision of a wordless adventure.
