Thessaloniki hosts 3rd International Digital Icon Festival

The Municipality of Thessaloniki and the Thessaloniki Municipal Gallery – Casa Bianca, in collaboration with the Laboratory of New Visual Arts Media at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, are organizing the 3rd International Festival for Contemporary Visual Media, titled ‘Digital Icon’.

Scheduled to take place from September 25 to September 27, 2026, the festival features a diverse program including artists from Greek and international higher education institutions, as well as independent creators. The event focuses on digital applications, experimental practices, and research-based artistic methods to showcase modern trends in technology and art.

A primary goal of this year’s festival is to encourage active audience participation and introduce digital visual media to people of all ages and technical skill levels, fostering communication and interaction through art. The exhibition will be open daily from 12:00 to 20:00 with free admission.
