Thessaloniki hosts diverse cultural and musical events in September

Thessaloniki features an extensive schedule of cultural, musical, and theatrical events throughout September. The city's agenda includes K-Pop tribute shows, stand-up comedy, and various concerts at venues such as the Lazariston Monastery, the Forest Theater, and the Music Hall of Thessaloniki.

Notable musical performances include Maxim Vengerov with the Thessaloniki State Orchestra, Antonis Remos celebrating his 30th anniversary, and various artists at the Street Mode Festival 2026. The city will also host outdoor cinema screenings in local squares and parks.

In collaboration with the Ephorate of Antiquities of the City of Thessaloniki (EFAPOTH), several events will take place at historical sites. The Anopolis World Music Festival 2026 will feature performances at the Heptapyrgion and the Manuel Tower. Additionally, the Roman Agora Odeon will host the performance ‘Mayu’, a narrative piece involving dance, piano, and song.
