Thessaloniki hosts various cultural, fashion, and documentary film events

Various cultural and community events are taking place in Greece, with a focus on Thessaloniki and Triandria.

In Thessaloniki, the “Cosmo-polis” fashion event, titled “New Waterfront-New Runway 12,” celebrates the city’s multicultural history using recycled materials. The event also commemorates the first women’s rights gathering held in the city in 1908. Additionally, the Connected We Stand Festival returns for its seventh year at the Thessaloniki New Waterfront, bringing together approximately 100 civil society organizations through workshops, music, and social awareness activities.

The 29th Thessaloniki Documentary Festival has announced new awards for its upcoming March 2027 edition, including the Eurimages New Lab Award – Outreach and the ARTE European Talents Development Award. Meanwhile, the Triandria Festival continues with musical performances, featuring traditional Greek nights and a concert by artist Panos Vlachos.
