Thessaloniki International Fair highlights transition programs and political skepticism

At the 90th Thessaloniki International Fair, the Just Transition Program presented its progress and future investment plans. The program highlighted ongoing projects and planned interventions in sectors including energy, transport, education, entrepreneurship, and security, with a focus on boosting employment and creating opportunities for youth to remain in their local regions.

Simultaneously, a Pulse poll conducted for SKAI TV revealed widespread public skepticism regarding political leadership and economic management. The survey showed low approval ratings for major political figures: Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis received 32% approval for his recent measures, while Nikos Androulakis and Alexis Tsipras each garnered only 25% positive views.

Public concern is particularly high regarding inflation; 31% of respondents stated that ‘none’ of the political parties' plans could effectively address the rising cost of living. Additionally, 54% of those surveyed expressed significant concern regarding the management of Greek-Turkish relations.
