Thessaloniki Metro expansion sparks viral reaction

A local resident in Thessaloniki has become a viral sensation following a media report regarding the expansion of the Thessaloniki Metro toward Kalamaria. When asked for his impressions of the new transit capabilities, a young man provided a bittersweet response, stating that while the development is ‘ghostly’ or ‘magical,’ he is saddened because he recently broke up with his girlfriend and will not be able to experience the new service with her.

Other residents interviewed during the report expressed more optimistic views, including an athlete who noted that the metro expansion would greatly assist his commute to Mikra.
