Thessaloniki offers free supplementary teaching for students

The Municipality of Thessaloniki has announced the launch of a free supplementary teaching program for the 2026-2027 school year. Managed by the Deputy Mayor of Education and Lifelong Learning, the initiative aims to provide educational support to students in primary, middle, and high schools, as well as those seeking foreign language assistance.

Selection for the program is based on economic and social criteria, prioritizing families facing financial difficulties who cannot afford additional educational costs. Lessons will be held at the ‘Portokalia’ Social Spiritual Center and the Municipality of Thessaloniki Lifelong Learning Center. Electronic applications for the program open on September 17, 2026, at 09:00.
