Thessaloniki Ring Road to face overnight traffic closure

Traffic restrictions will be implemented on the Thessaloniki Ring Road due to scheduled works. The closure will affect the eastern direction (towards Chalkidiki/Airport) between the Evkarpia and Meteora junctions.

The closure is scheduled to take place from 11:30 PM on Saturday, October 10, 2026, until 05:30 AM on Sunday, October 11, 2026. During this period, vehicles traveling in the eastern direction will be mandatorily diverted at the Sklaveniti exit. Additionally, the entrance ramp located near the hospitals will be closed to traffic.

Traffic moving in the western direction on the Ring Road will continue to operate normally. Drivers are advised to follow all signage to avoid congestion and accidents.
