Thessaloniki to host Greece Eurovision 2027 national final

Thessaloniki has been selected to host the ‘Sing for Greece’ national final to determine Greece’s representative for the Eurovision Song Contest 2027. The event, organized by ERT, is scheduled to take place in February 2027.

The competition is expected to span three nights, consisting of two semi-finals and a grand final. The Thessaloniki Concert Hall (Megaro Mousikis) is identified as the most likely venue for the festivities. The selection process will be broadcast live via ERT and the ERTFLIX digital platform.

This move is part of an effort to decentralize major cultural and entertainment events by hosting them in cities outside of the capital. The winner of the national final will represent Greece at the 71st Eurovision Song Contest, which is slated to be held in Burgas, Bulgaria, in May 2027.
