Greece reports multiple fatal accidents and injuries

Several tragic incidents have been reported across Greece, including fatal accidents in Crete and a tree collapse in Thessaloniki.

In Crete, a 55-year-old man accidentally struck and killed his 87-year-old mother while reversing an agricultural vehicle in Messara. Additionally, a 22-year-old German motorcyclist died after his vehicle veered off the road and hit a parked car near the Matala-Moires route; his twin sister sustained minor injuries.

In Thessaloniki, a tree suddenly collapsed at a playground in Kalamaria, injuring a 30-year-old mother and her 17-month-old son. Both were treated for head injuries, though their condition is not considered critical. Local authorities have ordered an investigation into the tree's condition.

In Skyros, a 77-year-old man was seriously injured after being attacked by two goats that had climbed onto his balcony. The man suffered abdominal injuries and fell from a staircase during the encounter and is receiving treatment in an Athens hospital.
