Thessaly business leaders discuss AI applications in Larissa

The Association of Thessalian Enterprises and Industries (STEV), in collaboration with the Hellenic Federation of Enterprises (SEV) and supported by ‘DIKTYO PRAXI’, held an event in Larissa titled ‘Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Practice: The New Era in Business Operations’. The seminar focused on the practical applications, opportunities, and challenges of AI in the modern business environment.

During the event, Thessaly Regional Governor Dimitris Kouretas discussed the potential for private sector partnerships with universities to foster new knowledge and technological utilization. He noted that AI should be viewed as a tool to assist experienced professionals rather than a replacement for them.

Spyros Theodoropoulos, President of SEV, highlighted how AI facilitates rapid information access and more effective decision-making. He specifically noted that for small businesses, AI can serve as a practical tool for tasks such as content creation, social media support, and monitoring inventory and sales to save time.
