Thessaly region faces rain and thunderstorms on Saturday

A weather system moving across Greece on Saturday will bring increased cloud cover, local rain showers and brief thunderstorms to Thessaly and surrounding areas. Temperatures will drop slightly, ranging from 22‑23 °C on the eastern islands and southern coast to 24‑26 °C inland, with some locations reaching up to 27 °C in the west. Winds will vary between 3 and 5 bft, strengthening to 6 bft over the Aegean in the evening. Similar conditions are expected in neighboring regions, including Macedonia, Crete, the Cyclades and the Ionian islands, with occasional isolated showers and gusty breezes throughout the day.
