THG Fulfil expands AutoStore partnership to offer flexible automation models

THG Fulfil, the fulfillment operating system from Manchester-based THG Ingenuity, has expanded its distribution partnership with AutoStore. The new agreement allows THG Fulfil to offer AutoStore systems through both traditional Capital Expenditure (CapEx) ownership and its existing Robotics-as-a-Service (RaaS) model.

This expansion provides retailers and brands with increased commercial flexibility, allowing them to choose between owning automation assets outright or utilizing a service-based model to protect cash flow. The agreement grants THG Fulfil global distribution rights for the full AutoStore product range under the CapEx model, while the RaaS offering continues to cover specific products such as R5 Pro and R5 Pro+ robots.

THG Fulfil currently utilizes 796 AutoStore robots within its own network, integrated with its proprietary warehouse control system. The technology has reportedly reduced average pick wait times by 78 percent. A recent implementation for the footwear retailer Footasylum included 85 AutoStore R5 robots across more than 96,000 bin locations.
