Thiago Carpini appointed as Clube do Remo head coach

Clube do Remo has officially appointed Thiago Carpini as its new head coach to replace Léo Condé. The decision follows a period of poor performance in the Campeonato Brasileiro, with the team currently sitting in 19th place in Série A.

Carpini, 42, has signed a contract through the end of 2026, which includes provisions for automatic renewal if specific performance goals are met. He arrives at the club after a stint with Fortaleza, which ended in July. His previous professional highlights include leading São Paulo to a Supercopa do Brasil title and achieving a runner-up finish with Água Santa in the Campeonato Paulista.

The new manager faces an immediate challenge, with Remo scheduled to play against Santos in Belém this coming Saturday. His primary objective is to lead the team out of the relegation zone during the final rounds of the season.
