Thiago Medina charged following sexual abuse allegation

Thiago Medina, a former participant of Gran Hermano 2022, has been formally charged following a sexual abuse allegation made by his cousin, Iara Agustina Ledesma. Ledesma alleges that the incident occurred when she was 12 or 13 years old and Medina was 17. According to her testimony, Medina entered her bedroom while she was in bed and touched her intimate parts, allegedly threatening that reporting the incident would cause a major family conflict.

Medina has addressed the situation on social media, posting a photo with the caption “Positivo” and stating, “Everything will be cleared up, it is only a matter of time.” His sister, Camila, has publicly defended him, claiming the accusations are untrue and suggesting he has faced similar false claims before.

While there were reports that Medina failed to appear for a judicial hearing, subsequent information indicated the hearing was suspended. The legal process continues as authorities investigate the claims and psychological evaluations are conducted.
