Thiago Pitarch returns to action for Real Madrid Castilla

Real Madrid prospect Thiago Pitarch has returned to competitive action with Castilla following a knee ligament injury sustained in July. After missing much of the pre-season, the 19-year-old midfielder played approximately one hour in a recent match against Sant Andreu to test his physical condition. The club's plan involves increasing his minutes with the reserve team to prepare him for a potential return to the first team as a rotation option for Fede Valverde and Aurélien Tchouaméni.

In separate news, SD Ponferradina striker Sérigné Faye is set to return to training this Friday after resolving passport-related bureaucratic issues in Senegal. Faye, who scored in the team's debut victory against Ourense, had been sidelined for over two weeks. His availability for the upcoming match against Pontevedra will depend on his physical fitness after the period of inactivity.
