Thiago Servo discusses reasons for split from Thaeme

Singer Thiago Servo has revealed the details behind the dissolution of his musical partnership with Thaeme, which ended in 2013. Speaking on the “Tem Base Podcast”, Servo attributed the breakup to professional disagreements and personal ego.

The conflict originated from a dispute over the song “Foi Daquele Jeito”. Servo proposed recording the track as a lighthearted project for Carnival, but Thaeme expressed concerns regarding the song's suggestive lyrics and how they might affect her family's perception of her. Servo proceeded to produce an arrangement in Londrina with his own band, bypassing the duo's management team.

According to Servo, the situation escalated when the song was released on YouTube featuring Lucas Lucco without prior internal agreement. He clarified that his primary frustration was directed at the management professionals rather than Thaeme herself. Reflecting on the incident, Servo admitted that his ego played a significant role and stated that he would approach the conflict with more flexibility today.
