Thiago Viana shares story of overcoming homelessness on national television

Singer Thiago Viana appeared on the TV Globo program ‘Encontro com Patrícia Poeta’ to share his journey of overcoming homelessness. After living on the streets of Fortaleza for six years, Viana gained national attention after a video of him singing in a local bar went viral on social media.

The viral video caught the attention of music entrepreneurs Amon Marques and Rafael Cabral. During his television debut, Viana performed his song ‘Deus Mudou Minha Sorte’ and a cover of Xand Avião’s ‘Inquilina’. He was joined on the program by social activist and CUFA president Preto Zezé.
