Thiago Wild advances to Costa do Sauípe semifinals

Brazilian tennis player Thiago Wild has secured a spot in the semifinals of the Costa do Sauípe Challenger 125 after defeating compatriot João Lucas Reis in straight sets. Wild won the quarterfinal match with a score of 7/6 [4] and 6/2.

The match was characterized by Wild's strong performance on returns and serves. While the first set was closely contested and decided in a tie-break, Wild dominated the second set. During the second set, Reis requested medical attention for a groin injury, which coincided with a drop in his performance level.
