Brazilian 19‑year‑old Thiago Wild captured consecutive Challenger titles, first in Zug, Switzerland, where he defeated Marc‑Andrea Huesler to claim the trophy and a place in the US Open 2026 qualifying draw. The following week in Liberec, Czech Republic, Wild recorded his sixth straight match win, beating Andrej Martin 6‑1, 6‑4 to advance to the second round.

The Zug victory raised Wild to the world No. 206 and put him within striking distance of re‑entering the ATP top 200. Alongside compatriot Gustavo Heide, Wild will compete in the US Open qualifying tournament beginning 23 August in New York.
