Thibaut Courtois nears Real Madrid contract renewal

Thibaut Courtois is nearing a contract renewal with Real Madrid. Despite receiving external offers with superior economic conditions, the Belgian goalkeeper intends to remain at the club to extend his career at the Santiago Bernabéu.

The club aims to extend his current commitment until at least 2028. Real Madrid management maintains full confidence in the 34-year-old's performance and leadership within the squad. To manage physical fatigue and injury risks, Courtois has stepped back from duties with the Belgian national team to focus entirely on his club responsibilities.
