Thierry Ehrmann releases 'Dialogue Between a Thinker and AI' to address literary debates

Thierry Ehrmann, founder of Artprice, has released the French version of his work, 'Dialogue Between a Thinker and AI'. Originally distributed in English as a raw typescript, the book is now available in French, with translations into Spanish, Simplified Chinese, and Hindi currently in progress.

The work follows a global debate regarding the role of artificial intelligence in creative arts and literature. This tension intensified in France following the exclusion of Thélyson Orélien’s 'C’était ça ou mourir' from the Prix Goncourt selection due to suspected AI usage, an allegation the author has contested.

Ehrmann’s book is the result of a 40-day experiment involving over 450 hours of voice-based dialogue between a human and an AI, totaling approximately 1,800 pages. To counter what he describes as a bureaucratic rush to regulate digital creation, the work is being shared via an open license (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0), allowing it to be read, downloaded, and shared freely.
