Thierry Henry has taken on the role of Director of Football for the Swiss sportswear brand On, where he is leading the development of the company’s football division. A central component of this expansion is the brand’s LightSpray technology, which utilizes a robotic arm to apply a continuous thermoplastic filament around a shoe in approximately three minutes, creating a lightweight construction without traditional stitching.

Henry is working closely with athletes to integrate their feedback into product development. Kylian Mbappé is a key figure in this initiative, participating in the design of his own football boots. Additionally, the brand is collaborating with Swiss international Sydney Schertenleib to explore specialized products for women’s football.
