Sebastien Ogier wins Acropolis Rally Greece 2026

Sebastien Ogier (Toyota) claimed victory at the 2026 Acropolis Rally in Greece, completing the event in 3 hours 36 minutes 40.7 seconds. It was his 69th career win and his second triumph of the season, earning the maximum 35 championship points for the win, Super Sunday and the Power Stage.

The battle with Belgian Hyundai driver Thierry Neuville was decided on the penultimate special stage, where Neuville suffered two rear‑ tyre punctures and lost 58.3 seconds, dropping to second place. Takamoto Katsuta (Toyota) finished third, followed by Josh McErlean (Ford) in fourth. Other notable incidents included punctures for Elfyn Evans, Dani Sordo and several others, highlighting the rally’s notoriously rough gravel and tyre‑wear challenges.

Ogier’s win moves him to third in the drivers’ championship with 125 points, 33 behind leader Elfyn Evans (158). Toyota extends its lead in the manufacturers’ standings. The next round of the World Rally Championship will be the Rally Estonia from 17 to 19 July.
