Thierry Neuville says Finland Rally speeds are dangerously high

Belgian driver Thierry Neuville finished fourth at the World Rally Championship round in Jyväskylä, Finland, after a weekend hampered by a suspension hit on a stone and heavy rain that made the already fast stages treacherous. He praised his recovery on Sunday but warned that the event has become “too fast”, calling it the fastest Finnish WRC stage in history with average special‑stage speeds of 147‑148 km/h and a top speed of 128.2 km/h recorded by winner Sami Pajari. Neuville urged organisers to add more narrow, twisty sections to reduce danger, noting that the high speeds increase the risk of serious accidents. His comments echo earlier criticisms from fellow drivers, while Hyundai’s performance remained solid despite the damage to his car.
